What we store in your browser
| Name | Purpose | When | Kept |
|---|---|---|---|
| kf_consent_v1 (local storage) | Remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics. | Always (strictly necessary) | Until you clear your browser data |
| kf_quiz_nudge_v1 (local storage) | Remembers that the "Too many options?" quiz suggestion was shown, so it appears on your first visit only. Holds a date, nothing that identifies you. | Always (strictly necessary) | Until you clear your browser data |
| __ph_opt_in_out_… (local storage) | PostHog's own record of your choice, so it stays off if you later decline. | Only after you accept | Until you clear your browser data |
| ph_…_posthog, ph_…_posthog_cpm (cookies and local storage) | A random ID that lets PostHog count your visits together and link a session recording. | Only after you accept | 1 year, or deleted as soon as you decline |
Vercel Web Analytics counts page views without cookies or any stored identifier, so it has no switch here. Turning analytics off stops PostHog from collecting anything new; to delete what it already collected, see Your rights.
