What Knife Fit is

Knife Fit is a free comparison service. We show prices and product details that independent online stores publish, so you can compare them. We don't sell knives, take orders or payments, or act for any store or maker.

Prices and product details

• Prices are read automatically from each store, usually once a day, and can be out of date. A store can change a price, sell out, or stop selling a knife at any time.
• Prices in other currencies are converted to US dollars with European Central Bank reference rates. The amount you are charged depends on the store's currency and your card issuer's rate.
• The prices we show don't include shipping, taxes, import duties or customs fees unless the store includes them.
• Specifications (steel, length, hardness, weight, handle) come from store listings and can contain mistakes. The store's own page is what counts.

Always check the price and details on the store's page before you buy.

Buying from a store

When you click through to a store, any purchase is a contract between you and that store only. Its terms, shipping, returns, warranty and privacy policy apply. We aren't responsible for a store's products, delivery, customer service or conduct, or for the content of its website.

Rankings and the quiz

The quiz ranks knives by how well their published specifications match your answers, using rules described on the About page. No store or maker pays for placement, and we earn no commissions. Fit scores, glossary entries and tips are general information, not professional advice. You decide what suits you.

Knives are sharp, and regulated

Japanese knives are very sharp and can cause serious injury. Follow the maker's care and safety guidance. Some countries and states restrict buying, importing or carrying knives, or selling them to minors. You are responsible for following the laws where you live. You must be 18 or older, or the age of majority where you live, to buy a knife.

Names, trademarks and photos

Brand, product and store names and logos belong to their owners and are used only to identify the products being compared. Their use doesn't mean any owner endorses Knife Fit. Product photos belong to the stores credited under them. To ask us to remove a photo, a product or a store, see Removal requests.

The site's own design, text, rankings and code belong to Knife Fit.

Acceptable use

Don't copy the site's data in bulk, scrape it with automated tools, overload it, try to break its security, or use it for anything unlawful. Linking to any page is welcome.

No warranty, and limits on our liability

The site is provided "as is" and "as available". We do our best to keep it accurate and working, but we don't guarantee that prices, availability or details are correct, complete or current, or that the site will always be available.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Knife Fit is not liable for any loss or damage arising from using or relying on the site, including paying more than a price shown here, a purchase from a store, a product defect, an injury, or a store's actions. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited, or rights you have as a consumer that can't be waived.

Changes

We may update these terms, and the date at the top will change. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. The competent courts in Tel Aviv-Jaffa have exclusive jurisdiction, unless the consumer law of the country where you live gives you the right to go to court there.
