About this knife
- Petty knives of this 140mm length are small, for detail work and compact boards.

Good to know for beginners
A petty is the small knife for the jobs a chef's knife is too big for: peeling, trimming, shallots, herbs and fruit in hand. 140mm is the most versatile petty length. VG-10 is stainless, so it shrugs off a wet board. The Japanese wa handle is light and puts the balance toward the blade.
